Picture This...
The distillery tour is done. Your guests are gathering in the atrium after one or two drams. The warmth and scent of the stills still hanging in the air. From a quiet corner, an acoustic guitar picks out a melody. Then a voice: clear, gentle and every word landing. The hairs on the back of the neck rise. The tour may have ended, but the experience carries on.
The Experience
One of Scotland's finest voices, shaping an acoustic performance that is presented sensitively and honestly. Pauline blends her own song interpretations with the essence of the original, and everything is built around your guests and your tour schedule: traditional, contemporary, a bit of both or Burns for pleasure rather than study. This isn't about showboating as a performer, it's about delivering what your audiences will enjoy hearing.
Music is deeply memorable, speaks to our core and defines the moment we experience it. Each performance is recorded for posterity. Once that last note has been captured, your audiences will have the option to take it home with them, transporting them back to the atrium, with a dram and an hour of song that can be shared with family and friends.
Pauline performs as part of a duo and a sound-person, typically accompanied by an acoustic guitar or the clarsach, the traditional Scottish harp.

Seamless Addition To Your Itinerary
We want to make the most of your guests' experience and fit around your tour schedule, we will come to you at one of your planned stops. Pauline's public address equipment is substantial but portable and sits comfortably in intimate spaces such as distilleries, churches, art galleries and museums. Your guests make the most of a stop they are already making: no disruption or extra travel time, just an extra element to enjoy before they head off to their next adventure.
Logistics
The act normally arrives about 2 hours before performing. This gives time for load in, set up and a sound engineer to do a soundcheck. All the little touches that make for a great intimate concert. The actual performance space required is normally around 2m x 2m. Load out is quicker, typically around 40 minutes.
What we ask of the venue: vehicle access close by for unloading near, not too many steps as main equipment is on wheels and a power socket.
Equipment
Pauline has her professional public address equipment. An Amico10USB with 500W Subwoofer and 2 x 150W Satellite Speakers. Each performance is recorded on site for guests to download later.
